So Yellowstone,

Went snowshoeing with Holt and his family last Saturday. saw tonnes of wildlife (coyote, red fox, bison, bald eagle, deer, elk, rabbit, some other unknown creatures). Had a lot of fun as this was my first time there. took some pictures. had sandwiches all along the way in the car. talk to Holt and his family (FYI, Holt is a friend of my roomate and now a friend of mine who is currently in his senior year in the Livingston High School). So thanks so mucho (Holt's mexican phrases) for taking me along the trip Holt and MR and Mrs Hancock. Why me mum said yellowstone is a boring place really baffled me. Such a beautiful place, especially now in the dead of winter.

Oh yeah, before that, had to translate for these two Chinese girls from Guangdong that came to the States. Both of them were like less than twelve years old and it was their first day in school. had such a hard time talking to them. forgotten so much about Mandarin (not that i know a lot in the first place but even then i can speak at least the whole sentence without pausing and thinking of the correct word). i swear the only words i said the entire time was, Ni hao, ni si huan che sum mo, and ni qi sui. and it took me forever even to think of that whole sentence (forgive me Mandarin teacher in Penang. from the most correct pronunciation boy to tty. Muahahahaha). Anyways, my teochew was also suffering. Tried to talk to my dad the other day and i was speaking in this weird accent. and i kept forgetting words too. Oh shoot, i'm turning to albert. (sorry dude)

All in all, had a blast in Livingston. went downhill skiing, went snowshoeing, had lotsa good food, met a lot of people and had my first real Christmas. had a stupendous New Year's eve party too. great fun

All good things must come to an end and so did this winter break. now i'm back in school and the prospect of having calculus 2, physics, chem and english (with a horrendous teacher) is almost too much to bear. but oh well, looking forward to going back (and kh, answer my emailS already. did u ask din and friends for me yet?? know you go to Melbourne, no need to action-action wan : happy kh?, Malaysian phrases still exist in my vocab. transformation my ass)

But for now i am enjoying my three day weekend. just went cross country skiing yesterday with some friends. met some new people too (hey, Jess, Valentine, Yani, Katie and Sabrina) and had the most delicious asian food in bozeman. then went to leaf and bean again yesterday to listen to some music and drink expensive coffee while playing cards with friends (cool down Judith, she plays UNO like ang chin uei. Inside joke).

That's about it. and yes, i just got my laptop. just waiting to get the internet in my room and i'm good to go. see ya people.
