OHO ppl,
sorry for the late update. been too busy (with all the holidays and school stuff and activities) lately. okay. let's see. let's start with the clintons concert (it freaking rocks).
Friday, Nov 18th
That day began as usual with me trying to fit in class time with homework. Nothing happening going on. Unbeknownst to me (i know actually, just wanna add a dramatic effect), the clintons were having a concert right at our dorm lounge. so i went there and saw them performing. they were absolutely awesome. the free ride in the cop car song especially. they sound sooooooo good live, better than their cd. after surviving dancing ppl (shake 'ur booty girl) and screaming fans, i went out with a couple of friends to watch hp. it was the 10.30 show and it was erm, for the lack of words describing it, "nice". but not expecting too much from them, i had a good time watching it. after the movie i went back to my dorm. and oh yeah, my package from me mom arrived on friday. kinda cool spices stuff and all. and dodol too. omg, they taste good. had a lil' party (actually only me,tristan and kasey) in the room, with them oooooo-ing and ahhhhhhh-ing over the malaysian snacks. and that was it for friday.
Saturday, Nov 19th
D-Day is finally here. The big game. The all out Cat-Griz game (Griz suck by the way). the 105th game for the two rivalest (my own word, copyrighted and all) teams of Montana.
Woke up about 11 on saturday. rushed to prepare myself for the game that is supposed to start at 1pm. had to go early as we wanted good seats. arrived at the stadium full of screaming fans in blue&gold (cats) and red (lousy griz). suprisingly a lot of the Griz fans came from Missoula to watch the game. in the tail-gate party, people can be seen eating and drinking, shouting not-so-innocent chants to the opposing team.
and then, we were off. the ball was in play and fans were screaming. this absolutely the loudest game i've been to and certainly the roudiest. the guys next to us were actually drinking beer (which got confiscated by the crowd management ppl) and were pretty ready to rock-on. after the exciting first half of chants, boos to the referee, dancing on the stands, we were treated to the marching band from missoula (with the cats fans refusing to watch, turning their backs on them). we were leading 10-0 into the second quarter. to "short-cut" (americanised malaysian my ass) the commentary, we won. 16-6. Muahahahahaha. take that you over-rated 3rd in the nation team. we won. such is the euphoria that fans ran down to the field and tore the goal post down. the whole gigantic goal post. and then they paraded it around town. well, there goes the tuition cost. up, up and away. what the hell, we WON............
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
These three days were pretty unexciting days (unless you wanna count laundry and homework as exciting events). spent most of the time doing homework and watching tv. reminisced (hope i got it right, too lazy to spell check. hola if it's wrong) on the game and stuff. and oh yeah, had an econs test on tuesday. took the test and then ran to the bank to get some money. then ran back to dorm to pack. pack all my stuff and we were outta there at five pm.
