Skating Dilemma
Was planning to go skating on the free ice rink yesterday. Rented the skates from the Outdoor Recreation Centre for two bucks and had all my homework and laundry done in anticipation of skating.
Mana tau, that stupid skating rink was close to the public yesterday. had made plans with some friends to go Leaf and Bean after skating and with the rink close, the night was apparently over (u see, we planned to meet in the skating rink itself. No skating rink = no plans for the night).
Called up kelsey to see if she still wants to go to leaf and bean and she was still up for it. So me and her went to The Leaf and Bean (no one else was contactable - judith went to the korean restaurant without me !!. herm)
It ended up being a suprisingly good night. the musician playing yesterday night was a (high-school?? eighteenish) guy with LOTS OF friends seeing him perform. Listening to the live music while drinking a tall white chocolate mocha was really nice and relaxing. he kinda reminded me of john mayer (kelsey agreed) cos of his guitar and his easy-listening-self-penned songs. One song of his was really good - the chorus was like "life is running, love can wait............" Although he was good, after the fourth song, he began to sound the same.
So..... we left and rented a movie in Hastings instead. Flightplan. Anyone who has not watched it yet should watch it. really cool show. Very good plot to it. Made me think of airplanes and of flying home
All in all, had a really good time with Kelsey. hope today's asian dinner is gonna be good.... And also Super bowl and Tristan's bday party tomorrow. see ya all.
ps - i think this is about the most monotonous update ever. try to beat me. i dare u.............
