I got a new job!
Two weeks ago, i attended an interview with ILX, a laser diode testing company based here in Bozeman. I was applying for the product engineer intern position and just yesterday i found out i got it. Sweet, a job that actually is related to what i'm doing in school. Not so sweet, the place it is at.
You see, it is a little bit out of town. Maybe 2 km? Any other place this would be okay but here in snowy, chilly, rainy Bozeman, this is hell. And you have to get on the freeway for a bit to get there. So, maybe i will learn how to drive stick after all (my roomate has a stick car). I guess i have to now huh. Or maybe walk or ride my bike :)
But anyways, this job is gonna be so cool. I gonna work in a lab and stuff and will be directly reporting to the President of the company. Talk about pressure. Hopefully this job will not be too difficult cause the one reason i loved working at the dining area was no brains were required. Now i have to think when i work, which can be a good or a bad thing. Hmmm, we'll see...
Sorry for this disjointed post as i am just taking 15 mins to compose it before i head off for a Lab exam. Anyways, i'll tell you about my new job once i start next week!
Till then, take care
