As of being back in Montana, everything is great. For now. The weather is perfect. Sunny but not humid; hot but still breezy. Great conditions to be out and about.
How amateur-ish are you if you fall on your first bike ride back?
And on to another good news, my pay got increased! It is officially $8.40 an hour now to work as a food serving dude. The whole cafeteria was given a new design too. Gotta get used to it all over again. Come to think of it, everywhere on campus, something was given a new look. The Student Union Building looks dramatically different now; edgier, the library looks different, we've got a new chemistry building up and running, etc etc. Even my house looks different now. It is definitely more homely, now that we have things called furniture. There is a hitch in this nearly perfect household though. My PS2 which i painstakingly brought from home will not work. I thought i was a smart ass, correcting the voltage difference with a transformer, innately feeling like i'd just single-handedly solved the root of all evil. Well, well, well, it turns out that of course there was this PAL and NTSC thing i wasn't aware about. Well i was aware about it back home, just not that knowledgeable about what the two terms really meant. So in short, my PS2 (an Aussie one, oi oi oi!) gives an PAL output that suprise, suprise! is not compatible with my NTSC tv. So it is either i have to get a new PAL tv (virtually impossible here in the Americas, not to mention $$$) or go get a tv converter (which i asked the local store here and was given a strict negatory retort). Yeah, fun stuff.
Anywho, I start school again tomorrow, this time as a Junior. Yeah, you heard me. Junior. Now bow down to me all of you pimply-faced, awkward looking freshmen and day-dreaming sophomores. The fact that most freshmen and sophomores here look more matured and taller than me notwithstanding, i feel strangely powerful. Seasoned and Wise. As if i knew everything about this school now. As if i am now know better about college life and what it takes to survive it. But, of course this is all said before my school actually starts. I wouldn't be suprised if i had another post a week from now, lamenting about the horrors of having five EE classes and the difficulties in understanding the quantum nature of electricity and its ties to the molecular world. Which, i am pretty sure what all third year EE majors are required to know about have deep insightful knowledge about. Maybe even prove its existency and then maybe draw graphs. We EE majors always draw graphs.
Well, it is good to rant write in this blog again. So to all my three readers, Welcome back!
